April 24, 2022 - Just after 4 pm today El Dorado County Fire Protection District Engine 26, Medic 25, Division 7703, Chief 7700, Engine 28, Diamond Springs El Dorado Fire Protection District Engine 349 and CAL FIRE Amador-El Dorado Unit Engine 2771 responded to a residential structure fire on Carla Drive in Placerville. Crews aggressively attacked the fire that had reportedly spread from the garage into the home. No occupants were injured. A fire investigator is investigating the cause of the fire.
