Station 15
Serving the community of Strawberry.
Station 15 is an unstaffed station. The station was built with funds from a Benefit Assesssment approved by the community.
Station 16
Serving the Communities of Kyburz & Silverfork
Station 16 is an unstaffed station.
During fire season the United States Forest Service, Eldorado National Forest (ENF), has an agreement with El Dorado County Fire to use Station 16 as a base for ENF Engine 64. This agreement better serves the people living in and traveling through the American River Canyon.
Station 17
Serving the Community of Pollock Pines
Station 17 is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by an Engine Company and a Medic Unit.
Station 18
Serving the Communities of Sierra Springs & Sly Park Hills
Station 18 is an unstaffed station.
Station 19
Serving the Community of Pleasant Valley
Station 19 is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with an Engine Company and Medic Unit. Visit our Little Free Library!
Station 21
Serving the Communities of Camino ↦ Cedar Grove
Station 21 is the Administrative Headquarters for El Dorado County Fire. The offices of the Fire Chief, Shift Division Chiefs, Fire Prevention Bureau, and Training Division are located here. Office hours are 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
Station 23
Serving the Communities of Pleasant Valley & Oak Hill
Station 23 is currently unstaffed.
Station 25
Serving the City and Community of Placerville
Station 25 is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by an Engine Company, a Medic Unit and the Duty Chief.
Station 26
Serving the City and Community of Placerville
Station 26 was designed to be a public safety building, housing both the Placerville Fire Department and the Placerville Police. The Fire Department out grew their space in the station. The 24-hour staff relocated to Station 25. The Police Department now occupies the building with the exception of the engine bays. Station 26 is an unstaffed station. Station 26 houses the district’s aerial ladder.
Station 27
Serving the Community of Gold Hill
Station 27 is an unstaffed station. Through a lease agreement, a BLM Hand Crew is stationed out of this station.
Station 28
Serving the Communities of Shingle Springs, South Cameron Estates, Crazy Horse & Red Hawk Casino
Station 28 is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by an Engine Company and a Medic Unit. Station 28 also houses the Districts’ OES engine, which is staffed when requested by Cal OES.
Station 72
Serving the Communities of Cool, Auburn Lake Trails & Pilot Hill
Station 72 is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by an Engine Company.
Station 73
Serving the Community of Pilot Hill
Station 73 is an unstaffed station.
Station 74
Serving the Communities of Coloma & Lotus
Station 74 is currently staffed part-time with a Division Chief who is also an accredited Paramedic. The station houses the Districts’ Swift Water Rescue boat and vehicle. The Station is also a “move-up and cover” location for Ambulances.
