Board of Director - Ken Harper
Population: 11,418
Director Harper moved to Pollock Pines with his wife in 2002 after a career as a Special Agent of the U.S. Treasury Department investigating tax fraud and money laundering. Within a short time, the two of them got involved in local educational and charitable organizations. Ken became familiar with some of the key differences between living in large, heavily urbanized counties, and smaller rural and semi-rural areas, especially the differences in public safety organizations. In 2017 he was asked to apply to fill a vacancy on the Board of Directors. He has served on the Human Resources and Fire Prevention Committees. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the California State University San Bernardino.
