Placerville, Calif. (June 20, 2024) — Several Firefighter/Paramedics received their badges during a badge pinning ceremony at the El Dorado County Fire Protection District Board of Directors Meeting on Thursday. Receiving their badges were Firefighter/Paramedic Jake Brandt and Firefighter/Paramedic Brian Duffey.  Both of these members joined the organization as Paramedics and voluntarily participated in a "Paramedic to Firefighter" bridge program where they learned firefighter skills and completed state validation testing.
